Join us for Tech Trails, a seasonal series of outdoor networking hikes held at parks and trail systems throughout the region.
 

These casual, energizing events will bring together tech professionals and community members for a mix of sunshine, fresh air and great conversation — all while exploring the beautiful public spaces of Kent County.
 

Each Tech Trails event features:

Time to connect and network

Insights from industry leaders 

Tech Trails is a great way to unplug, get outside, and engage with the West Michigan community in a fresh, informal setting.

  • Is there a cost to attend?
    Nope! Tech Trails is free, thanks to the support of the West Michigan Tech Talent council and our sponsors.
  • What should I bring?
    Come prepared with comfortable walking shoes, a water bottle and a snack (Some hikes may have food or drink available for purchase afterward).
  • Can I bring a friend or my kids?
    Absolutely. These hikes are open to all — just make sure everyone is ready for a relaxed, enjoyable walk.
  • Will there be anything besides the hike?
    Yes! Each event includes a brief talk, experience, or activity — no pitches, just community, conversation, and connection.
  • Anything else I should know?
    We’ll send event-specific updates and details beforehand. Just come ready to enjoy the trails and meet great people!
